Tiger Kim’s Academy strives to inspire each and every member to strengthen their mind and body through Taekwondo, Tang Soo Do, and Hapkido, and strive for Black Belt excellence. We work together with each student providing individualized attention through understanding student needs and encouraging them to attain their best. Student will become more focused, stronger, better coordinated, and grown in CONFIDENCE and self-discipline.

Since 1976, Tiger Kim’s Academy has helped students grow through authentic martial arts, disciplined coaching, and a family training culture that welcomes every generation.
Tiger Kim’s Academy has deep roots in Denver and a long-standing commitment to traditional Korean martial arts. Founded by Great Grandmaster Tiger Kim (Asian Martial Arts Championship Title holder and Korean National Police Captain), the school blends Taekwondo, Tang Soo Do, and Hapkido into a training experience built on respect, structure, and real personal growth.
Students don’t just learn techniques here — they learn confidence, self-control, perseverance, and how to carry themselves with purpose both on and off the mat.

- Grandmaster Kim was Colorado AAU District Taekwondo President and is now Colorado AAU Sports Governor.
- Grandmaster Kim holds a 8th Dan in both Tang Soo Do and Taekwondo.
